A Hospital Ministry Team consists of people that serve the cause of Christ by faithfully visiting members and friends of LCC in local hospitals or hospice facilities.

Team members take a day a week to make visits. This ministry has three goals: expressing support and encouragement on behalf of our LCC family; praying with patients and their families; and keeping the church connected to a patient's changing condition.

The Hospital Ministry Team greatly enhances our ability to meet the needs of our congregation.
If you know of someone that is in the hospital, please let the church office know so we are able to visit them.

An outgrowth of our Hospital Ministry Team is a Shut-In/Care Facility Ministry Team where members are willing to serve by visiting members who are house-bound or living in care facilities. Their commitment allows us to develop a team focused on specific needs of shut-ins and provide ministry to them.

Team members are paired with one individual who is no longer able to be "out and about" and will visit at least once a month. We're excited to pursue this ministry: bringing the love of Jesus to people in positive ways. 

FUNERAL MINISTRY

We are here to come alongside you in pre-planning/planning funerals.  We have a volunteers from within the church that will provide salads and desserts for family luncheons held at LCC.  If you would like to join this team, please contact Pastor Chris.  Lucy Detrick or Emily Ghan will contact you.

SHORT-TERM MEAL MINISTRY

Are you going to be hospitalized due to illness, surgery or a new baby?
Are you able to supply a meal to our members who have those needs?   Let us know at the office.
