schedule an appointment with our pastor, please call the church office, Monday - Friday between 8am and 4pm. We also have available a list of
counselors in the community that we recommend.
We have shopping carts located in our main building for donations to be dropped off. Food is picked up weekly and taken to the Altoona Food Pantry.

HOSPITAL VISITATION MINISTRY
A Hospital Ministry Team consists of people that serve the cause of Christ by faithfully visiting members and friends of LCC in local hospitals or hospice facilities. Team members take a day a week to make visits. This ministry has three goals: expressing support and encouragement on behalf of our LCC family; praying with patients and their families; and keeping the church connected to a patient's changing condition.
The Hospital Ministry Team greatly enhances our ability to meet the needs of our congregation. If you know of someone that is in the hospital, please let the church office know so we are able to visit them.
We are here to come alongside you in pre-planning/planning funerals.
We have a volunteers from within the church that will provide salads and desserts for family luncheons held at LCC. If you would like to join this team, please contact the church office. Lucy Detrick will contact you.

We do weddings for those who are members or who have made Lutheran Church of the Cross their church home through regular attendance at worship gatherings and other ministry events.
